Beck, Bogert & Appice

Beck, Bogert & Appice foi um power trio formado por Jeff Beck (The Yardbirds, Jeff Beck Group), o baixista Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus) e o baterista Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus). Os três começaram a pensar em um projeto em 1970 mas Beck sofreu um acidente de carro em que levou mais de um ano para se recuperar. Bogert e Apice, que foram anteriormente integrantes do Vanilla Fudge, foram convidados para a formação do Cactus. Após a dissolução do Cactus e com Beck já recuperado, eles decidiram reviver a antiga idéia de colaboração e começaram a trabalhar no material para lançamento de um álbum. Foram lançados somente dois álbuns, um gravado em estúdio, de novembro/73 e um gravado ao vivo em um show no Japão (janeiro/74). Os álbuns tiveram sucesso de venda graças ao cover de "Superstition" de Stevie Wonder.

Suicidal Tendencies é uma banda americana de thrash metal formada em 1982 em Venice, Califórnia.

O vocalista e letrista Mike Muir (a.k.a. "Cyco Miko") é o único membro constante. Citados muitas vezes como os criadores do gênero skate punk, desde o início a banda inclue influências de heavy metal e thrash metal e mais tarde o funk e até mesmo hip hop.

Apesar do Suicidal Tendencies nunca ter feito muito sucesso comercial eles são muito respeitados por terem sido a primeira banda a misturar hardcore punk com heavy metal criando o crossover thrash (junto com Anthrax, Corrosion of Conformity, D.R.I., Excel, Nuclear Assault, S.O.D. e muitas outras).

The Company of Snakes

The Company Of Snakes foi formado aparentemente para reviver o espírito do Whitesnakes, dos anos 70. Fundada pelos guitarristas Micky Moody e Bernie Marsden, a formação contava ainda com o tecladista Don Airey (Whitesnakes), o baixista Neil Murray, o baterista John Lingwood (Manfred Mann's Earth Band) e o vocalista Stefan Beggren (Snakes of Paradise).

A banda lançou dois álbuns: Here They Go Again (2001), ao vivo, e Burst The Bubble (2002), gravado em estúdio.
