The Allman Brothers Band é uma banda de Macon, Geórgia, nos Estados Unidos da América, nomeada pelo Hall da Fama do Rock and Roll como os principais arquitetos do rock sulista estadunidense.
A banda foi formada em 26 de março de 1969 em Jacksonville, Florida com Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley. Butch Trucks e Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson.
Formado originalmente em 1969, foram descritas dois anos depois por George Kimball, jornalista da revista Rolling Stone, como o "a melhor banda de rock and roll que este país produziu nos últimos cinco anos". Reconhecida por sua capacidade de improvisação impressionante, cujo melhor exemplo se encontra no álbum At Fillmore East, a banda foi premiada com onze discos de ouro e cinco de prata entre 1971-2005. A revista Rolling Stone listou o The Allman Brothers como um dos 100 Maiores Artistas de Todos os Tempos em 2004. A banda continua a gravar e realizar turnês até hoje.
