The Marshall Tucker Band é uma banda americana de Southern rock com origem em Spartanburg, South Carolina.

A banda foi formada em 1972 por Doug Gray (vocalista), George McCorkle (guitarrra), Paul Riddle (bateria), Jerry Eubanks (flauta), e os irmãos Toy (guitarra) e Tommy Caldwell (baixo). Eles logo assinaram com a Capricorn Records e, em 1973, realizaram o seu primeiro EP, The Marshall Tucker Band.

Comparados com os pioneiros do Southern, The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band tem mais influência de Country e Western, com a caracteristica de ter em seu line-up um flautista.
